Not a Case of the Monday’s

I just know today is going to be a great day. Why?

#1 Reason: Never Shout Never

Just saw on Spotify that Never Shout Never has a new cd out. BEST NEWS EVER!

#2 Reason: Maxing Out

I maxed out my bench press today with 95 pounds. That’s 82% of my body weight. At the end of season we hope to get 100%.

#3 Reason: Hashtags

I got Tweetdeck for Chrome and am now obsessed with hashtags. Sorry twitter friends, beware of swamped amounts of running talk because I have added columns of these groups

#4 Reason: Teal Converse

I’m wearing my brand new Teal Converse I got for $8 at Kohls the other day Smile

Too bad my phone quality is awful and you can’t see how bright they really are. I also promise I am wearing shorts Smile

Now a present for you all. Ever looking for music to workout to? Look no farther.

the answer: Run Hundred

Chris from Run Hundred emailed me and provided me a list of the top 10 workout songs for the month. He compiles a top 10 for each month taken from votes on

My favorite part of the lists are the BPM (beats per minute) of each song. I certainly know fast songs get me pumped up to run and I notice faster times.

Also, their website provides a sound clip of each of the songs.

The top 10 for this month are:

  • Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer – Give Me Everything (Sidney Samson Remix) – 129 BPM
  • Nicki Minaj – Super Bass – 128 BPM
  • Switchfoot – Dark Horses – 83 BPM
  • Gym Class Heroes & Adam Levine – Stereo Hearts – 90 BPM
  • Lady GaGa – Edge Of Glory (Bare Noize Remix) – 140 BPM
  • Pitbull & Marc Anthony – Rain Over Me – 128 BPM
  • Nadia Ali, Alex Kenji & Starkillers – Pressure (Alesso Radio Edit) – 129 BPM
  • T.I. & B.o.B. – We Don’t Get Down Like Y’all – 92 BPM
  • LMFAO, GoonRock & Lauren Bennett – Party Rock Anthem (Russ Chimes Remix) – 129 BPM
  • Alexandra Stan – Mr. Saxobeat – 129 BPM

Chris stated this about RunHundred “Visitors can browse the song selections there by genre, tempo, and era-to find the music that best fits with their particular workout routine.”

If you want to check out more about RunHundred, you can visit their website, twitter, or facebook.
