I’ve had a lot of pre-workout fuel, but I always come back to Clif Kid ZBars. These filled ones are great! The apple filled with almond butter surprised me on taste. I was a bit worried about it, but they are so good. But I will have to say the double peanut butter are the best! So delicious. It sits well on the stomach and is a perfect little snack before my run.
I’m loving Sarah Marie Design Studio and this mug! You more than likely drink coffee and whether it is before your run or after your run, this mug is perfect.
These are the wireless headphones I use and will not change for a long time. Yurbuds don’t fall out of your ear and I love them being wireless so I don’t have to be “wired” in, but also because then I can leave my phone at home and run with just my Apple Nike Watch.
I love this Apple Nike Watch. Before this watch I had the Garmin Forerunner 235, which I’ll link next in case you aren’t one for Apple products. But this Apple watch is great because I’m connected to everything. I can use it throughout the day as my tracker and receive notifications and then when I’m ready to run, I can throw my headphones on and listen to music from my watch and leave the phone at home. I love this watch.
The Garmin Forerunner 235 is great if you are looking for an activity tracker, text message alerts and a overall great running watch. I switched to Nike because I didn’t like how the vibration on the plastic felt for alerts and then since I have an Iphone, I wanted it to all be compatible together. Plus I’m not a runner that has planned workouts anymore, so I don’t need the fancy features on running watches for laps, tempos, fartleks etc. But I recommend this watch for those who are runners with planned workouts.
Like I said, I’m loving Sarah Marie Design Studio. Once you’re done with your run you might get cold when you sweat dries and you’ll want a nice cozy sweatshirt. Or you have showered and you want it to wear after. Either way, these are such cute designs!
I’ve talked about this ice cup on the blog before. This product is great because you can take it with you. I love ice cups because I can massage the area while icing. This provides a cooler pack that surrounds the cup so it will hold it frozen for travel and you can use right after your run.
The Avex Stainless Steel Freeflow Autoseal water bottle is my go-to. I have the green one, but have been wanting this ice colored one forever! I just need to save up for it. These bottles are great because you can drop it and it’s durable. It keeps your water cold for over a full day (even though you should be drinking more than that, ha.) But I also love that it won’t spill because you have to hold the button while you drink.
Those are just some of the items I have been enjoying for my running!

Q: What accessories are you loving?
Q: Do you have any of the above?
This is crazy but I went on one of my longest runs in quite some time on Saturday. The weather finally cooled off so I hit the trail. Now I really took a route that was longer than 3.5 but had some stops along the way. I underestimated the humidity….but I chose to take advantage of my walk breaks and did lunges in between my bouts of running.
I didn’t live up to my goals I set myself for July when it came to running, but I’m okay with it. I will set the same goals for August and see how I do. But I’m enjoying this nice post workout drink currently that adds in some caffeine boost!
