Don’t Forget!

I just wanted to let you all know that since I have three weeks, well 2 more weeks off running, I won’t really be posting much within that time on this blog.

Something New Has Been Created

So as you know, this is a running blog, correct? Yes.

However there are two parts of my life:

  1. Running (a huge part, but only takes up a few hours of my day)
  2. The rest of the things I do to fill my day

There are also four types of people:

  1. Those who like to read about my running
  2. Those who want to read about my day other than running
  3. Those who want both
  4. Those who don’t want to read about any (these people shouldn’t bother visiting the blog then, correct?)

Well, I’ve been working on another blog. Yes, another blog.

This blog is what I do besides running. Things I enjoy listening to, reading, and watching. Products I love to use that aren’t running related. Hobbies I have such as maybe the good deals I find and how I saved so much money on awesome products with coupons. You know, the interesting/not interesting daily doings.

I know I could just write about that stuff on here, but I would like to just keep this as more of a running log/diary and attract those who just want to know about running than bore them to death about other facts to do with me.

Obviously I would love your thoughts too because I will definitely listen to what you have to say!

Commenting Construction

Will Return to Blogging

I will be absent from blogging until tomorrow.

I passed out in the athletic training room and hit my head on the tile floor, therefore I’m a bit tired and sore.

I need to focus my time on resting and studying for my chemistry test tomorrow, so I’ll be back to blogging sometime tomorrow.

Get into a Rhythm

I need to figure out a rhythm to things. Such as when is a good time to post. I really feel the blog is slacking and I’m going to try and fix that.

Goals for the Blog

1. Post regularly

Morning: Morning post will be about run, breakfast and the to do list for the day
Night: Night post will be lunch, things done in the day and dinner

2. Blog Makeover

Within the next few weeks (depending on my time) I am going to revamp the blog. I feel it’s cluttered.
I also want to add some more tabs, maybe including some nutrition tips and race recaps

3. More Giveaways

For all of my readers that have stuck with me through my lack of blogging lately, I will be hosting lots of giveaways coming up.
I have multiple items to give away but haven’t had the time. So look for those.
Hint: something cool for your wrist (remember my bracelet I made?), something for skin protection, a cure for stinky clothes, and some pain relief for you runners out there!
Exciting, I know! So keep a look out!

 

I don’t want to make too many goals, because I want to be able to reach them all and soon.

If you have any ideas on how to improve the blog or what more you’d like to see, I’d love your input. It may or may not be used, depending on what it is :D

Recap and Blog News

Alright, sorry about the sporadic posting. I promise it’ll actually become a regular schedule once I get to school. I leave Wednesday so just trying to get things together!

Before I do a recap I want to share some things I have in store for the blog.

-Scheduled posts at scheduled times at least around the same time of day
-Updates when I find new products and add them to the shop. I love being able to share the products I use for you all to have the option to buy and the cheaper options at that! amazon definitely has some of the best deals. I’m not about making money from this, but the main reason is to share an easy way to buy the products I use and love! Letting you know when I add products saves you from going to my shop and checking or not having an idea when new products are available!
-More of an idea of my daily life and not just what I eat and run. might not be too detailed, but will be more like a “to do list”
-Post the questions you all ask me and my answers. I comment back to most questions, I try to answer all but sometimes I forget! So this way I can answer them back to you and in case others wanted to know the answer too, they can see without searching for my comment on the questioners blog!

 

Those are just a few things that will happen once I get to school. Sorry I haven’t commented on blogs very much.

If you have any other suggestions about making this blog better, let me know.

Sometimes I get a feeling it’s too cluttered or things like that!

Wednesday

Had to go to the oral surgeon to get my dry socket packed from my wisdom teeth removal. So I didn’t have breakfast.

When I got back from my appointment I really wanted to try to run!!

Run: 1 mile at 7:50 pace

Didn’t feel so good so I went back home.

Went out on another run.

Run: 1.7 miles in 14:52 @ 8:44 pace

Just a nice and easy run, had some pain in my mouth and stomach so I stopped.

Yesterday (Thursday)

Had to go back again to the oral surgeon to get the packing replaced. So no breakfast again.

Run: 2 miles in 16:32 @ 8:16/Mi pace

Just taking it easy with my mouth so I don’t get an infection and such. Then easing back into running since I took a week off. Doing two a days to get mileage in.

We picked up some Jimmy John’s too! I got the Italian Night Club and ate about half of it.

Ran at alex’s house, felt really good.
