We are throwing it back today. I added some old songs to my running playlist, as I sadly don’t have my old music anymore. Must have lost it all through the multiple computers I have had. But here are two songs that helped my pick up my pace this week.
On Monday I ran 3.7 miles. I had plans to run throughout the week, but I just didn’t feel like it and that was okay. I ran on Saturday, but only 1.2 miles as I wanted to make a smoothie and needed some orange juice. So I ran a mile then ran to Walgreen’s and walked home. I also did a Nike Training Club workout and am going to start incorporating those into my weeks.
I was trying to find a race to increase my motivation to get out of the door and put solid training in, but just couldn’t find one that was worth the money. Now that I have limited funds, I have to be choosy. I was looking at the Hot Chocolate race series because they normally have great swag, however I wasn’t a fan of the pullover. If it looked like the Magnificent Mile jacket then I would’ve signed up ASAP.
